24-25 Annual Impact Report

Better Soccer. Better People. Stronger Community.

We’re proud to share Capital Futbol Club’s 2024–25 Annual Impact Report, highlighting another transformative year of community building, youth development, and soccer excellence.

Over the past year, CFC has continued to lead with purpose—reaching more than 6,000 youth across the Willamette Valley and deepening our commitment to equity, access, and excellence in everything we do.

Better Soccer

From the recreational fields to the national stage, CFC players and teams continue to raise the bar:

  • Northwest Regional League Champions (2010 & 2012 Boys)

  • President’s Cup Champions (2008 Boys)

  • Girls Academy Western Regional Champions (2013 Girls)

  • A CFC athlete selected to the U15 Men’s Youth National Team

  • Over 5,000 recreational players served, with new summer programming launched

  • CFC coaches make up one-third of all U.S. Soccer “C” licensed coaches in Oregon

We’re also investing deeply in the girls’ game—expanding our Girls Academy pathway and hiring women leaders as coaches and program directors.

Better People

Soccer is just the beginning. At CFC, our athletes:

  • Participate in the Leadership Academy to build life and leadership skills

  • Prepare for their futures with mentorship and job training

  • Achieve remarkable educational milestones:

    • 97% of graduating seniors are college-bound

    • 10% are first-generation college students

    • 10 student-athletes are continuing on athletic scholarships

Stronger Community

CFC’s mission is rooted in community impact. This year, we :

  • Provided after-school soccer at 23 Title-1 elementary schools

  • Trained 65+ youth officials through our Referee Academy

  • Delivered $187,150 in scholarships to athletes from low-income households

  • Welcomed 100+ refugee participants to our “All Nations Soccer” program, with families speaking over 15 different languages

We’ve grown from serving one school to now reaching 27 of 42 elementary schools in the Salem-Keizer district—ensuring thousands of at-risk youth have access to positive, consistent opportunities.
