PLAY INDOOR SOCCER WITH CFC THIS WINTER!

For players who want to continue playing through the winter time, this program is offered for kids grades Kinder through 8th grade.

Players are organized into teams to play 1x week with a volunteer coach at Capital FC’s indoor soccer facility, Salem Indoor. Games will take place on Saturdays or Sundays.

This 7-week program will happen November 14 - January 10 (no games on holiday weekends).

THE CLASSIC INDOOR SOCCER EXPERIENCE!

For kids who want to keep playing but want to stay dry, this league is for you! Indoor soccer is played with walls, which means the game is faster paced and even more action packed. Players continue to develop their soccer skills through game play in Salem Indoor’s fun and family-friendly environment.

This program is a “game only” program - no practices for the players. Show up, play, and have some fun!

 

INDOOR LEAGUE RULES AND DETAILS

Teams are organized into the following game models:

  • K/1st - 4v4 half field w/bumpers (no goalkeeper)

  • 2nd/3rd - 6v6 + goalkeeper - full field

  • 4th/5th & MS - 5v5 + goalkeeper - full field


Games take place every 50 minutes with 2x22 min halves (1 min halftime).

Game times will be announced closer to the season starting.

This is meant to be fast paced and fun!

Is this the right program for my child?

  • The program is for players kindergarten through 8th grade.

    Players will be divided into the following divisions by grade: K/1, 2/3, 4/5, MS

  • $125

    Includes CFC T-shirt.

    There is no refund for this program after 10/25.

  • This program is for players of all skill and experience levels.

    Kids are mixed into groups of varying skill levels and most include players who have little or no experiences, as well as players who may have had experience with past seasons.

  • Season Length: 6 Weeks

    Practice: no practices in this program

    Game: One game per week on Saturdays/Sundays (1 hour).

FAQs

  • Because of the walls and the small field size, indoor soccer is typically faster paced than outdoor. The ball only goes out when it gets above the wall, so there is quite a lot of action.

    In addition, players are given more touches on the ball and more 1v1 and dribbling situations because of the number of players on the field and the size of the field.

    This is a great compliment/development opportunity for players looking to continue to play soccer through the winter time.

  • No, this is a game only model. Show up and play your game 1x week and that’s it!

  • Games will take place either Saturday or Sunday between 7:30am and 8pm.

    We have a lot of demand for our programs and do our best to accommodate everyone’s schedule, but we have limited space.

  • We always take a waitlist after the registration closes, and depending on a variety of factors.

    Send us a message to join the waitlist, including your name, player’s name, phone number, player’s birthdate, and school attending!

    Note: Registration price will increase $25 after registration closes.

  • We organize players into teams based on the following:

    1. Requests made by parents during registration

    2. Geographical Location/school of Participants

    3. Available number of volunteer coaches

    4. Available roster spaces per team

    5. Date of registration

    We will always try our best to honor requests as well as geography, but that does not always work out.

    Regardless of team placement, the club will do its best to give each player the best developmental experience possible.

  • Typically, we DO NOT have players play up unless they fall under our “same-grade exception policy.” This policy allows players to play with their classmates, and the point of our recreational programs is to maximize fun, not create world-beater teams.

    If your player does not fall under this policy, you may send us a message requesting to play up. These requests are considered by our Program Committee and a decision is reached after the case.

    If your player is exceptionally talented, we encourage you to explore our Junior Academy, Pre-Academy, or Competitive Programs, as they may be a better fit.
