visit our complex

We are grateful to welcome you to Capital FC’s complex, Pioneer Sports Park!

Below you will find several maps to help you navigate both the fields and the parking lot.

At the end of the page, you’ll find a few of our favorite places to eat, hotels to stay, and things to do in our community when you visit.

  • AT PIONEER SPORTS PARK:

We have several great options right on our complex.

Visit Prismatic Coffee for your morning cup of joe, or grab an awesome taco or quesadilla from Fuego Mexican Grill’s truck.

    NEARBY:

The Yard Food Park is a great spot just down the Street. Food carts and a warm hall with drinks makes a great spot for an after-game meal where everyone can find something they like.

There’s also plenty of good options at Willamette Town Center off Lancaster.

Our brewery partner is Santiam Brewing, about 10 minutes from the complex. They have a great english-style pub that is family friendly with the best beer in Salem (in our opinion)

    HEAD DOWNTOWN:

Downtown Salem is about 10 minutes straight west of the complex down State Street. Check out Downtown Salem’s instagram page for some of the highlights - there’s too many to put in this page!

  • Want to make a day of it after your match at CFC?

If you want to do something outside, Silver Falls State Park is one of the best around our area, east of town. Or head south and walk the boardwalk at the Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge.

Salem has the largest interconnected park area in the country. Between Riverfront Park (downtown), across the Taco Bridge to Minto Brown Park, or across the rail bridge to Wallace Marine Park…these are great for a walk or just to do a little exploring.

Need something to do inside? Watch a movie with the family at Northern Lights Theater Pub, or head to Wrecking Ballers or Exitus Escape Room for an experience.

If you have never done it, check out the Capitol Building, the parks (especially the Cherry trees in the Spring) and the famous Golden Man. If you look closely at the Capitol building, you’ll see a few pieces of CFC’s branding come from this iconic location.

If you’re a wine drinker, the entire Willamette Valley has some amazing wineries. The closest ones to Salem that we love are Willamette Valley Vineyards in South Salem (Turner), and Redhawk Winery in West Salem.

  • For a close and convenient stay, we recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites or its sister hotel, Home 2 Suites, nextdoor, about 5 minutes from the complex.

We love the Grand Hotel. It’s amazing and right in the heart of downtown.

If you’re looking for something special, the Independence Hotel is really great. Check out the “Squad Suite” designed for teams.
