Welcome BJ Noble : CFC Director of Operations

SALEM, OR – Capital Fútbol Club (CFC) is excited to announce the appointment of BJ Noble as the Club’s Director of Operations and Head Coach of the 2013 ECNL squad.

Noble brings a wealth of experience from his time with the New England Revolution Academy, where he served as both an Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Pro Pathway Director of Operations. Beyond his technical contributions, Noble also played a beloved role as a “residency parent” - living alongside young academy players providing not just coaching, but genuine day-to-day mentorship.

“We are incredibly lucky to have added a coach of his caliber to our staff,”  says Technical Director, Joe Wentworth. “With BJ’s page of experience and CV, I’m sure we will all benefit and learn a lot working alongside him.”

With over 30 years in the sport, Noble has coached across collegiate, high school, and club levels. He began his career in Salt Lake City, leading high school and Club teams as well as the semi-pro team, the Utah Salt Ratz, achieving multiple regional titles and a national championship in 2001. In 2008, he took the helm of the men’s soccer program at Millikin University in Illinois, leading the team to a solid 10-8-2 record.

Noble then became Director of Soccer at Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU) in 2009, where over nine seasons his teams amassed an incredible winning record. Under his leadership, NDNU produced 90 Academic All-Pac West selections, 49 All-Pac West athletes, 28 NSCAA/D2CCA All-Region honorees, and eight All-American selections. In 2010, the squad topped the nation in goals-against average at just 0.47, and in 2012 the program secured a return to the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament for only the second time in school history.

In addition to his robust coaching résumé, Noble has served as a Technical Advisor for the ODP Far West (Region IV), helping shape high-potential youth players in the Olympic Development Program. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Northern State University (1996) and a master’s in higher education from the University of Redlands (2006), along with multiple US Soccer and NSCAA coaching licenses.

“I would like to thank CFC for the opportunity to join the club. I’m eager to build meaningful relationships and ready to take CFC to new heights. I’m excited for my family and I to become a part of the vibrant community and can’t wait to get things rolling!”
